Is there a way in the registry to remove associations (the list that shows)
from the Open With, I have clicked on one by mistake, plus there are a
couple I don't use anymore, as I have software to that covers a few
things....

Thanks.

I don't know about Registry changes but with my version of Windows XP Home I can go into EXPLORE (right click on the START button), find a file, right click on it and either click on OPEN WITH: which leads to a submenu giving an option to CHOOSE PROGRAM...
Or, right click on the file as before, choose PROPERTIES, and click on the CHANGE... button next to OPENS WITH.

that is correct, but I want the oposite, i want to be able to "remove"
selections from the list it offers, especially if I have clicked a program
to use in error.

I tried it, but when I went to the .cue choice nothing was there, and yet on
my windows it is?

I need something to edit/delete the list that appears when I choose "Open
With"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\FileExts\.cue\OpenWithList
