I would like to have something in my webpage that it would allow my photos to
NOT be downloaded... Can you please help me?

It might slow someone down but it doesn't help the situation. Read many,
many previous posts about this subject.

I have one person, who if she saw that the pix couldn't be downloaded that
would be all i needed.

Hi Patti,

The thing to realize is that it doesn't really help matters by using a
no-right click script. If someone wants an image that will not stop them.
They can look in their cache, follow the url directly to the image, do a
screen-shot, save as HTML, turn off JavaScript and still do a right click
and save, along with a few other methods I am probably not thinking about
right now. No-Right click scripts give some people a false sense of
security. (and aggravate many visitors)

If you still want to do it then Google for no-right click scripts and I am
sure you will find something. Definitely not recommended though.

Here's an interesting example of how fruitless this is.

Go here (assuming you are in Windows) -

http://www.smartwebby.com/website_templates/preview/hi-tech.asp

Click on the demo link for that page. Right click on the demo. Note the
alert that you cannot do this. Now position the cursor in the upper, left
corner of that popup. Press the Menu key on the keyboard (between START and
CTRL on the right-hand, bottom of the keyboard. Note that this menu has a
View Source option. That's all you need....

So, are we to understand that you only want to prevent this one individual
from downloading pictures from your web site?

What would be the use of that? Or for that matter, preventing maybe 50% of
users from downloading your pictures? Downloading isn't the only thing you
can do with pictures. You can also make copies of them, distribute them,
make them available to others, etc. how do you think viruses get spread
around? The same thing will happen to your pictures (if they are worth
copying).
