help with margins andc tabs how do we get quickly to your microsoft basic supp

WE have two requests. First how do we get to the windows
exp site without having to go through so many steps and
so much confusion?

Number two We are having a problem with the tabs. When we
type letters, we find that the margins separate or that
the indentations on a paragraph on the first line move
inwartd. I have sloved this problem by always saving the
a leter or document first but we should not hav eto do
this . We are very happy with our new computer.

Use Outlook Express, then "newsgroups" tab, download the newsgroups list
(depends on yr ISP but expect 30,000+) choose WHICH "exp" (assume expert?)
group you want, subscribe to it. HINT - once downloaded, search using
"Microsoft" - that narrows the choices - if you want Word, then, use both
words..
Your query is unspecific as to application - I'm guessing it's Word (maybe
Wordpad) so go to the approprate group and post there.
I agree with you, trying to get to newsgroup via XP help is difficult.
Appreciate that you're a "newbie" - we all were, once! (some like me, still
learning). OE6 has help screens if you need more, but this works, for me.
