HELP WITH INTERNET

Hi can someone please help me. I cant get onto the internet. I keep getting
a box on my desktop that says "internet explorer has stopped working" the
tech rep I spoke too says it has something to do wtih the browser & that I
had to call Microsoft but it's Sunday does anyone have a contact number for
them?? Please???

Have you installed anything recently that is not Vista compatible? That
action can cause IE7 to start crashing on Vista.
 
Yes I installed my printer/scanner software onto the computer... has this
affected the browsing of the internet??

Which territory?
 
It's quite possible that it is your printer software, I had a lot of trouble
when I first installed Vista with things like that.
Uninstall the software & disconect printer/restart/plug the printer back in
& Vista should auto find the lastest software for it & install it.
Failing that go to the printer manufacturers web site & see if there is a
Vista patch there.
The only problem is if it is a very old printer & the makers are not
supporting it.

Look for any toolbars that might have installed themselves, Google, Yahoo,
anything at all.. if you have any, uninstall them..
