| When word converts a doc file to htm, it creates a "head" section which in
| this case is about 1700 (!) lines long. If I delete lines 7-874 (but not
| 8-874 or 7-873), the aberrant behavior stops. However, this is very time
| consuming to figure out, so that for now, I'll just use the "insert file"
| function.
