I have purchased music online and burned it onto a cd as well as saved it on
my computer. When I try to import the music I get an error message. What have
I done wrong?

How do you turn off the DRM for the music files?

I have some experience the Windows Movie Maker and I found it very easy to
use and to add music to it. Try two free programs out there that are both
free. Y ou just download them. Here is the url of one of them called FreeRIP.
In case you find something you want to use but it isn't the right kind of
file for MovieMaker, you can convert it to one that will open with the
program-http://www.mgshareware.com/If you have files that are really strange
to Movie Maker you can convert them to MP3 files or wave files with FreeRIP.
Another is one called Audacity. Anythig you find on the web or that you have
in your CDs called easily be edited as well as narration. It is a free
program available for download on the Web site at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net. Open the program, then go to File/Open and
browse to your saved music file and then click open.Go to the file menu and
click on Export to MP3 and then click Save. You will then be able to open
your sound file in Movie Maker because it will open MP3 and WAV files.
I hope this helps.
