Hi all
I have couple of wxp machines

when browsing a web site and pressing the back button and
trying to go back a couple of pages the IE gets stuck on
100% and I must kill it via task manager to continue
working (not specfic pages , it happen for example at
www.hp.com)

a.)I was trying to check spyware and alike - nothing was
there
b.)removing cookies
c.)deleting offline files and alike
d.)I was trying to remove all the things running at
startup via MSCONFIG
e.)I have all updates to windows
f.)I was trying to check for viruses - nothing

any idea will be great !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks,
Haim Chibotero

Hi Haim,

Here are some suggestions.

1. Install the latest display card driver
2. Reinstall the Internet Explorer 6 SP1
3. Remove the Internet related applications one by one
4. Disable the anti virus application and firewall applications

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!

Hello Haim,

You can try the following methods and tests to see what happens.

1, If you are using a network card, you can try "Safe Mode with Network" to
see if the problem occurs in Safe Mode. If the probelm does not occur, we
can confirm that the problem is caused by either some startup items, or
services, or drivers that are loaded in Normal mode but not in Safe Mode.

2. Delete Internet temporary files in Internet Options to see if this
resolves the issue.

3. We can create a new user account to see if the problem happens with the
newly created account.

Hope this helps. Thank you!
