Any time I put a Cd or DVD in the Hp 300n DVD/CD writer my whole computer freezes...mouse, etc. It doesn't even respond to cntrl/alt/del. I have to manually shut it off. I really have just started burning CDs, so I just noticed it freezing. I downloaded all the Microsoft updates and the new HP BIOS, but it still does it. Should I replace it or is there something else I can try? Thanks for any help.
