Help with homepage...

Everytime I open internet explorer it takes me to a
certain page(that is not my intended homepage). I tried
changing my homepage options(failed to work). ANd I
tried searching for ad/spy-ware and removed any that I
had and that still did not work. What else can I do?

Hi Jason - Well it's hard to tell just what you've got with that info. Do
this:


Download HijackThis, free, here:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip it to any convenient folder, start it then press Scan. Click on
SaveLog when it's finished which will create hijackthis.log. Now click
the Config button, then Misc Tools and click on Generate StartupList.log
which will create Startuplist.txt

Go to Spyware and Hijackware Removal Support, here:

Sign in, then copy and paste both files a message asking for assistance,
Someone will answer with detailed instructions for the removal of your
parasite(s).
