help with home page

Hi, i hope someone can help with an annoying problem that
i have....... somewhere along the line i have visited a
site that keeps changing my home page (its a search page)
and i cannot get rid of it.... i have tried deleting
cookies and deleting history pages to no avail.... there
is no contact information on the offending site so i
cannot contact them..... hope someone can help..... i like
my home page set to hotmail and i reset it to that but
when i log off ie the offensive thing comes right back
again when i get back on ie......

In addition to the info there, check your StartUp folder for any programs that look suspicious. If no joy, go to Start, Run, type in "msconfig" (no quotes), click Okay, go to the StartUp tab, and look for any line there that look suspicious. You probably went to a web site and clicked on something that made the additions/changes to your registry or added a script to your system that caused this problem. This can also be caused by running an email attachment or clicking on something in a HTML email.
