Hi ppl,
I have jsut opened a gaming cafe and i have run into some serious
trouble. I am using an 'Aventis Gamestor' to make images of the game
cds so that i will not have to distribute the game cd every time a
customer wants to play a game that requires one in the cd drive. Most
of the games are not working with this gamestor. Is there anybody who
can help me with this? Is there any other game server i should look at
which works will all the games?? Please HELP...am losing customers
and even my friends are hell bent on the games that dont work with
this server.Any help will be appreciated.

You could try http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ for "no cd required"
patches. Once you own a game and have it loaded you can apply the
patched exec and put the CD away for safe keeping. There are also
programs like Alcohol 120% which can create Virtual Drives on which
you can mount ISO images of the play disks. Once you own a game you
can create an ISO image and put the CD away for safe keeping.
Gotta go...

Both technique will work on most cases/
Most new games requires the CD just for making sure you have the correct CD
(Looking for the CD protection).
The NO-CD crack is much better sulotion since it won't require any special
activity to run the game (Just double click the icon :-), and it won't take
more space on the HD.
In some games the NO-CD crack won't work at all, and on some other it won't
work for online gaming. In these cases use the Virtual Drives as suggested
before.
