Back in 2003, Mick Massey wrote

"Does anyone know how to change the colour of the little
arrow in the auto filter box when you have sorted a list?"

and David McRitchie replied

"Hi Mick,
No and why would you. The color changes to blue automatically
for the arrow and for the row numbers that remain when a filter
is engaged.."

Can I pose the same question please? My reason is that we have a
protected, shared workbook accessed across a network. If, when you
first go into the workbook, someone has already applied a filter it is
difficult to see which column has the filter. Yes the colour changes
to dark blue, but on our screens, it's hard to differentiate dark blue
on grey and black on grey! It would be great to have the button change
to, say, red on white, when the filter is active!

To compound things of course, the 'Show All' button doesn't work when
a book is protected/shared!

Thanks
