Hello to all

If someone could advise me how to delay the boot menu for Vista I would be a
happy camper.

It's all of about 3 seconds now and if I get distracted during that time
oops it's too late.

Thanks

Bob

Hi Pammer,

Click start, type CMD. When the command prompt appears in the menu, right
click it and choose to run as administrator. From the C:\ prompt, change the
timeout value by running this:

bcdedit /timeout 10

The 10 changes it to 10 seconds, you can choose a different value if you
like.

Or use system properties (winkey/pausebreak) advanced settings /
startup-recovery

Go to control pane and click the System icon. in the sysetm window click the
Advanced System settings option. Once in the advanced system properties
window look for the Startup and Recovery section and click the Settings
button. In the system startup section change the 'time to display list of
operating systems' to 10 or more seconds. The default is 30 seconds.
