I am relatively new to the FP 2002 experience. I am
trying to set up a threaded discussion group within my
web.

I have used the wizard to create the pages
(disc4_cfrm.htm & disc4_post.htm). But when I publish
the site (on an ISP server with MS 2002 Extensions) and
try to post a topic, it does not show up.

Am I missing a page, maybe a page to show the posted
thread...? Or are discussion pages not setup to just be
published, is there some internal work I need to do?

The wizard said that I could 'create a custom TOC' - what
is a TOC?

I have a guestbook that has been published and is working
properly.

Thanks in advance.

First of all, if your host supports subwebs,
I recommend you delete the current DW if it is in your root web or you will have continual problems

Then create a subweb just for the DW (say "forum") and open the subweb then use the Wizard to recreate your DW (and create a link
to/from the subweb in your root and subweb)
Finally Publish the Subweb using File Publish web
http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/
(or from the root web using the Include subwebs option)
And never publish the subweb again
