I know that this is probably something easy with the guys that
normally work with SCSI but I am faced with a device that has be
baffeled. Dell 201S, I know its old but I am looking at the fact 8
drives at 68GB a piece for an offline storage solution.

This is the problem. Connecting external SCSI cable to system on the
A controler I only see half the drives. Connecting the device using
both controller cards on different channels have no effect, still only
the top half of the drives appear. I switched out the drives,
switching top with bottom and they only appeared as 4.43 GB (weird),
drives are same model, series, etc. Switched back and back to
recognizing 4 68GB drives. Maybe its a configuration thing I am doing
wrong. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look ath the disk's datasheet (available from the manufacturer).
They might be jumperd in some wrong way.
