Help with Data Validation

Hello,

I have 2 columns of data in Worksheet #1. One is "Item" and the other is "Price". On Worksheet #2 I have used the data validation tool in excel to force a drop down menu referencing the Item column from Worksheet #1. Does anyone know the excel formula or tool name that I can use to force the "Price" to populate in the adjoining cell on Worksheet #2? Basically, when I choose the "Item" I want the "Price" to populate the adjoining cell.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

OK, I found the answer. I used the VLOOKUP function and was able to populate my prices based upon the item that I chose in my data validation column.
