Help with copying merged cells

I am trying to copy information from one merged cell on a worksheet into
another merged cell in a different worksheet. The one that we are copying
from is the same size as the one we are copying to, but we still get the
error that they have to be the identical size in order to copy. I have
played around with it for a while now and have come to no conclusion. Please
help!

Make sure the worksheet you are copying to has no merged cells in the copy
area.

Indeed, avoid them!

You could use Alignment > Horizontal > Center across selection.
