Help with capture on All-in-Wonder

I am using the All-in-Wonder card in my Athlon 1.33 Gig machine, running
Windows 2000. I am running the ATI Rage Theatre Video Capture version
6.14.10.6201. All of my TV and video functions are working fine, except
for capturing video from a camcorder through the SVHS connector. When I
do a display of a playback from the camcorder, I see the video in the TV
window, but the 'record' icon is not enabled and I can't get the capture
to go to disk. It may have worked for me at least once, but now it
fails
consistantly. I have tried all different resolutions. My file system
is
FAT32. Is this a setup problem, or do I have clobbered or out of date
software? I checked all the ATI devices in Device Manager, and they are
all reported to be working ok.

Any suggestions?

Hi Andy,
I checked and have more than enough free space on my C: drive(over 10
Meg).
In any case, I'm not sure why the program would not allow recording,
when
the length of the file is determined in real time, when I play it into
the
SVHS input jack. Right now, the record button is not enabled, but I can
see
the input video being played on my monitor. I have tried everything,
including
upgrading my DirectX to the latest 9.x version. All my tests show that
the
All-In-Wonder Card is functioning properly, as is the rest of the
system. The
only thing I could find in the help screens was that the record button
is disabled
if you are trying to capture a 'copy protected' file. This is not my
case, as I
am inputing a home video made on my own camcorder.

Hi Mike,
Yes, it was sloppy of me. That was supposed to be 10 Gig.

Since my All-In-Wonder card came to me installed by a company called
Polywell, who put these systems together, I did not receive the original
packing stuff, except for an install disk. What is haunting me is the
prospect that this card does not support 'video capture'. It could also
be some obscure thing like my BIOS or a clobbered file. ATI support is
quite spotty. If I had known this when I bought my system over a year
ago, I probably would have chosen a different company to do business
with.
I am still waiting to get some kind of reply from ATI support, but not
being able to communicate directly with them, puts me at a great
disadvantage.
