Windows XP Help with blank pages

I dont know if i have out this in the right place, But i am having pronlems with blank pages on my windows xp screen, I can go on ebay or msn or generally browsing on interent and i could get about 6-10 blank ages within 5 minutes from going on, I have checked for viruses in the computer and luckily enough to have none, I have the virgin anti virus, i keep clearing my cookies in the control panel but still doesnt work, is there any1 who can help me please,

you have some form of malware.

do an online scan.
download and run spybot search & destroy
download and run adaware from lavasoft

when clean,
download the mvp hosts file to prevent you from going to infected websites.

if that doesn't resolve your problem,
download, install, and run hijack this.

use google to locate each of the above.
