help with AVG

Trying to update avg I click update now and get the message can't get
connection----. I then manually go to free.grisoft.cz and then---oh well
I don't know what to download or how to update this way.

I have downloaded the file, put it in grisoft update folder. What now?
I tried to open it and I got the message what program to open with. I
put grisoft there and setup, then I got the message AVG is already
installed. Guess I'm not reading instruction right.
Little more help please.

Did you do this:
Run AVG 6.0 Free Edition.
AVG 6.0 Free Edition will find new Update file and use it automatically
(At the bottom of the page)
Update program or virus def. files?

Thanks, it worked, When the instructions said to run AVG update, I
thought that mint to run the program I had just dounloaded. When you
said to run AVG and it would _find the update_, then it clicked in my
mind what it mint by run AVG.
