Registry hack or otherwise, I want the navigation pane on my Mail tab to display my Favorites only... I don't need a full folder list unless I ask for it. Can anyone PLEASE help me configure this so I see just the mail icons I want... and NOTHING more? Go ahead and get technical -- I can handle it.

You can't change this. The Mail Navigation shows all mail folders and
Favorites.

I can't accept that... there has to be a way!!!! This
country was founded on the very principal that there is
always a way!!!! Please don't make me live like this!

OK... overdramatic. But damn I hate when they change
something for no apparent reason. This isn't better, it's
duplicitous. All the folders (and only the ones I want to
see) are in the CUSTOMIZABLE Favorites folder. Why repeat?

Someone hear my prayer and save me!

What do you mean by "change"? They didn't change it they added a new
feature. Switch to the Folder List Navigation if you want your old folder
list view back or you the Shortcut Navigation if you want the Outlook
Toolbar back

OK... Just had to re-create the entire Shortcut
toolbar... I thought they were replacing it
with "Favorites" in the Mail folder. All better. I don't
hate it anymore. Thanks.

You're welcome! :-)

Have you ever thought of using LINUX? You can customize
anything. Do a search for a LUG (Linux User Group) in your
area. They will be more than glad to help you through
every aspect.
