Hi can i ask how can i create in AD a group.

would be the best resolution on this?

suggestions, it will be appreciated.

thanks and kind regards

If you are asking how to create a new security group then you need to open
up Active Directory Users and Computers on your Domain Controller and right
click on the ou or container where you want the group to reside and click
new and select group.

This will create a new group without any privileges. You will need to
provide the permissions or security this group of users needs separately.

I don't think this is probably a good first step for you though, since it
doesn't appear that you are very AD literate. I would suggest you find your
self some information before you start making any changes.

You pretty much just did that. <grin>

Just ask whatever (technical) questions you have in the group(s)
that seem to be relevant.

You are doing fine.

Generally you would put the User accounts into the "Domain Admins"
group.

You really should NOT be planning on adding a LOT of users to this
group, so it would seldom be useful to make another (Global) group
for this collection of users first -- and you cannot do that in some
domain "modes" anyway since Group "nesting" is only enabled for
Native and Win2003 Server native mode domains.

For other cases in Native+ mode you could build a (Global) group
for AddGroupMembers, add the users to that group, then place this
new group inside of the group you wish them to be a member of.

You can do all of this in AD Users and Computers (or by writing
scripts.)
