OK. I had a server crash. I can see the data on the
drives but teh drives are not bootable. I have reloaded
2000 server and I am trying to find the location of the
Active directory users so I dont have to retype all 200 of
them. Anyone know where these are stored? Any special
instructions on copying them over? Thanks in advance for
the help.

It's not that easy I'm afraid. All AD objects are rolled up in the ntds.dit
file and cannot simply be copied across. Did you by any chance have a backup
of the server that crashed?

unfortunately no....I do however have access to all files
of the Old C drive..dont know if that helps

When you reinstalled if you used the same directory as the previous install
then odds are anything that was recoverable is lost. Do you have a system
state backup?

I installed onto a different hard drive. I have the old
harddrive in as a slave. I can still see all my old
information
