I have had problems with a virus that completely knocked
out all my programs...since then I have not had
everything properly re-install into or onto my
computer...for instance I cannot get my email addresses
to link as I try to forward them in any forward
email...and my a drive will not allow me to review any
disks???any suggestions or help would be greatly
appreciated!!

You must use a quality anti-virus program to remove all
traces of the virus or viruses you had. McAfee has a
program called STINGER which id a free download from
http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.asp

It will detect and fix about 2 dozen or more viruses at on
time, most other removers are single virus at a time.
McAfee also has some of those types of tools.

You may find it easier to save your data files (be sure they
are clear of viruses, at least before you restore any of
them) and then do a clean install of Windows and all your
applications.

If you can find a local computer club (ask your ISP or at a
local computer shop) because you might be able to find some
help.
