Hello,
I wonder if anyone can advise me....
Some time ago (following power cuts) my computer froze & wouldn't re-boot.
As a solution a local computer shop fitted a second smaller hard drive, I then re-installed Windows XP on that one (now seen as the C: drive) and was able to recover my data files.
Since then I have been using this new smaller hard drive exclusively.
I have run scandisk on the D: drive (the original one) & it shows 4KB in bad sectors. I have also formatted the D: drive.
I would like to re-organise my use so that the smaller (currently C drive is just used for booting & the D: drive for other progs & data storage. BUT meantime I would like to also re-format the C: drive so I can start with a clean slate.
Sorry this sounds a bit confusing... can anyone help???
Thanks Gill
