My working system is a Windows XP EOM.
All drivers are working properly.

By the installation of the DVD reader, the driver is selected and installed
automatically. The driver runs also
properly.

I can read CD's but not DVD's. According Windows
XP, the CODEC's are missing. I tried different CODEC
through internet, without success.

Can somebody help me to find the solution of this problem.

Thanks in adavance

can you see the files on the DVD but not play them?

If so check with the vendor for the driver usually WinDVD or something like
that.

If it cannot see the files on the DVD then it has the wrong drivers
installed and you will again need to go to the vendor's site for the correct
driver.

As a matter of fact contact your vendor might be the best idea!

Wayne,

I see the files but I can read it.
In fact the files are data.VOB files for Video DVD's.
If I ask the question differently, how can I read video DVD's zith the
extension VOB ?

Is this the problem ?
