I just can not get it to open. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. I
have tried to restore and it does not seem to help. I have tried to clean
boot and that does not help all the time. I double click on it and nothing
happens. I try to open it in many ways and NOTHING> I go to windows
add/delete files and it is not even in the list. I have windows sp2 and the
windows Movie Maker 2.1 didnot even install with that.
THen I get media player 10 I believe and my songs I JUST paid for yesterday
will not play... Error code # COOD11DA
Now, I am not very good when my computer fails when I am working on a
project. I have been to MANY web sites trying to fix things on my own.... NO
LUCK.
I need GOOD directs and some HELP!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

If MM 2.1 did not install with SP2 it could be becuase SP2 didn't install
properly, or something in the system stopped it from doing so, like malware.
Did you read up on any of the Pre SP2 installation sites to see what was
best to do before installation?
Try rolling back to SP1 and see if that helps.

Here is the deal. My computer came loaded with everything and I did not get
the CD for Windows?!!?! So, how can I go back to SP1?

If SP2 came on the OEM you can't roll back to SP1 since you were never
running it.
If you haven't installed much on your computer since buying it then using
the restore disk to restore your computer back to new isn't such a big deal
to do, but if you have installed a lot or have a lot of data (like the songs
you purchased) that you need to back up then it is time consuming and is
usually a last resort kind of thing.
If everything worked properly at one point in time then using System Restore
to go back to that point may solve your problem.
Another option is to get a copy of SP2 on disk from Microsoft-
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp2/cdorder/en_us/default.mspx
it is free and doesn't take long to get via mail. The website says 4-6 weeks
but I have done it twice and both times got my CD within 2 weeks.
