HELP When select VBA Editor Access shuts down!

L

laavista

This morning, when I clicked on the VBA Editor to bring up my procedures and
modules, I got a "Microsoft Office Access has encountered a problem and needs
to close..."

My tables, reports and forms all open OK.

I tried compacting/repairing.

Yesterday's backup does not work. Day before does, but if I use, I will
lose a lot of work. I got a lot accomplished yesterday.

Any ideas?

Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Some other things to try:

- reboot your PC if you haven't already

- use the /decompile command line switch
(http://www.mvps.org/access/bugs/bugs0008.htm)

- if that doesn't work, copy everything from your old database into a
new empty database
