there is no way to confirm or verify whether you actually read the message
or not
hope this helps

With best regards, D@annyBoy. E-mail: (e-mail address removed)

I *think* it is the "modified" date which you can display. At least for
me, the date/time displayed in this field is when I remember opening the
mail.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Is there a way to find out when exactly I read an email. The received date
is not what I am looking for. I need to know the time and date I actually
opened the mail. All my emails come from the exchange server at work. I
also know that the sender of the email would know when I read the email if
he/she has the "tracking" option on. My situation does not allow me to ask
them, so ...

Please. It is a matter of life and death. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you so much Rob. This is what I thought too. I found this modified
date in the properties section of the email. I just hope that someone can
confirm it to me. If someone like mvp know it for sure, please give me a
hand.

If you opened the email then Modified is what you want. If you read the
email in the preview pane there is no way to tell when you did that.

I never use preview pane. I am really grateful for this piece of
information. Thank you so much for you all.
