I have an HP5510 and it came with I.R.I.S OCR software. Any suggestions on
the best way to scan the text that gives the names of the songs and artist
on a CD's Jewel label into MS word would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Bill

Is this really practical? Apart from the problems of having to correct
the inevitable mistakes by the OCR software, there are standard CDDB
databases which will automatically download this information for you.

Liner notes and artwork are another matter. It's amazing how many
major albums don't have their covers available online, and how
difficult it can be to find when it IS online.

I suggest going to a web page like www.cdnow.com find your artist and
album and then just cut and past.
