Hi and thanks for reading this,

I have a weird thing occasionally happening. I use windows ME and use KAV
and ZoneAlarm. This is the 2nd time I've seen this in a few months. Zone
Alarm has a pop and it warns me that -AUMagic (with the minus sign in front
of the name) is trying to access the internet.I deny it access and then
look in Zone Alarm and it reports the file as having a zero KB file size
and no location for the file. I search my 3 drives for that file and it
(the file) doesn't show up? A netstat shows me nothing unusual.I'm about to
do a system scan with KAV but last time that turned nothing up... any
ideas? Thanks..

Buckaroo.

Google for AUMagic (without the minus) and you'll see a fair bit on this
issue, most of which seems unresolved. You might uncover something that
helps though?

Thanks. I looked around. I suspect it is the update thingy for windows. I
saw a lot of people started getting the alert after upgrading their ZA and
so did I. Not going to worry about it for now.
