Hello all,

I don't know how this happened, as I don't mess with my PC's settings or
software settings. I have IE version 6.0.28, and for the past few weeks
every single page I visit is automatically built from scratch, even if I
visit the page regularly. This includes the rebuilding of sites I've
already visited within the hour, and
even whenever I use the back button to review a page I've passed in the same
setting. What must I do to fix this time-consuming and unnecessary routine?

Also, about the same time this began though probably unrelated to the above
problem, I began having trouble downloading mpg clips. I have always used
RealOne Player version 2 with no ill effects, but now I always get a message
saying that the clip cannot be found, insinuating that I moved or deleted
the clip (something that bewilders me as I am always downloading these clips
to view for the very first time and can't possibly have moved or deleted
them).

Much thanks to whoever can help me sort this out,

Brian

PS: now I find that I cannot "view source" for any webpages either. Can
these problems be related somehow?

Brian,
"cannot "view source" for any webpages either. Can these problems be
related somehow?"

There may be several reasons .........

1) If a shortcut exists on the Desktop for Notepad, rename it.
2) Some users have reported Quick View Plus to be the culprit?
