Uncle Vinnie

Hi...

Using XP Home and CA/EZ, there is a file in my startup, which I have
disabled, which I don't recognize at all, nor does it come up when
Googling...

It's under the Windows directory:
wnqpajgz.exe.

doesn't sound good... but again, I'm not sure...

Anyone familiar with this? thanks!

It sure has a malware sounding name.

Please submit a sample of "wnqpajgz.exe" to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against many different AV vendor's scanners.
That will give you an idea what it is and who recognizes it. In addition, unless told
otherwise, Virus Total will provide the sample to all participating vendors.

When you get the report, please post back the exact results.

Here is a list of the suspect file submission addresses for the better-known AV products:

Thank you David... apparently it was in my startup, which I then cleaned out
of the Registry- the program itself was nowhere to be found except buried in
a Spybot zip file, it originally was under the Windows directory...
