help w/pictures taken by ???

I have no idea what I did but.......I have hundreds of files of thumb-nail
photos bunched into single files and I can't get the single pictures out.
Each file contains 5 to 20 individual photos. Sort of like a film strip all
in one. What did I do and how can I fix it?
also, all the 'strip files' are .jpg not .db

Try registering the following file in the Run dialog box (Start | Run)

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Generic icon is displayed for a picture file when in Thumbnail view

Running the file helped …some. It freed up a bunch of thumbnails but there
are still 100’s of jpg files that are still clumped together and I can’t get
to them. Could I possibly send you as an attachment of one of the files?

No, please don't do that.

You may consider using a different image viewer (you seem to be using the
generic Image and Fax viewer).
