While I do not know how this "Event Log Online Help" is meant to work, I do
know that when I tried to go to http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/Help/Event
manually, the webpage displayed the following. "We're sorry, but there is
no Microsoft.com Web page that matches your entry. It is possible you typed
the address incorrectly, or the page may no longer exist. You may wish to
try another entry or choose from the links below, which we hope will help
you find what you're looking for."

Is anyone else having this problem or is my Vista malfunctioning?

There is no central error list. And MS is 50,000,000 individuals teams not
allowed to talk to each other for anti trust reasons without three firms of
lawers being present, 1 neutral, 1 representing 1 team and another the other
team. It's always worth a try.

I just found something interesting. Within the Event Viewer, on the right
side under Actions is a "Help" dropdown to a "Event Log Online Help" link to
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/ee_basic.aspx (this link works).
It's the "Events and Errors Message Center".
Now, if that "Event Log Online Help" goes there, why does the "More
Information: Event Log Online Help" try to go to a URL that isn't there?
I am even more confused now.

I think one does the computer equiv of filling out the form. I have seen,
rarely, events that MS do list.

There is another web site (something like Events Online) that is semi user
supported. I always use google to search, and it finds that web site a lot.
