Help using Thunderbird 0.4 and newsgroups...

Hi I'm using Thunderbird for reading this and other newsgroups however I
am getting concerned with
the VAST amount of old posts kept on Thunderbird. If I try to delete
them then it says that I can only
delete my own posts. How can I slim the posts down so that I can pick
and choose which ones I
want to keep and what ones I don't. I know I could just unsubscribe and
subscribe again but this
seems quite long-winded and wasteful...

Sorry, got it sorted..... I really should look right through the prog....
BTW. cant wait for Firebird 0.8 to come out. 0.7 is the business
although I have found
some errors on the kelkoo website: the page seems to reload all the time.

Try 40tude Dialog, it's best News Client I ever used
