Every so often when I'm using IE6, it crashes on me. I
get an error message relating to URLMON.DLL. Does anybody
know about this problem?

If so, how can you help me?

Hey to all, I also am getting this same message! Its
quite annoying and time consuming. When clicking on
hyperlinks, it always comes up with an Explorer error,
saying Explorer has an error in URLMON.DLL and this
program will shut down. Any ideas on help?

Thanks

Recently this error has been caused by a bad BHO called T3
It also generates a 4 letters .dll file such as:

C:\windows\temp\JAAH.DLL.
Or cjpb.dll which have been reported.

download BHOCaptor.
Get it here:
http://www.webattack.com/get/bho.shtml

This utility will only disable the culprit.

You may find more help if you need to:

Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php#det
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct
(below):
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change
into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button]
(generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:

There is no such thing. For your information the programme that you say
'detects' a BHO called 'T3' (taken from a single post to GOOGLE) doesn't
even provide BHO 'names'. All it provides is a column headed "description"
and a column called "file".
