Good morning
Here is my problem. I recently got a new computer from Dell. It came with
Vista on it and Macfee pre installed. I transferred my entire old computer
to the new. When I went to sell something on my e-bay account I was unable
to upload pictures from my computer to ebay. I spent the better of 5 hrs
with ebay tech support changing security setting (enabling active X and
allowing pop ups) they were unable to correct the problem. In short when I
go to the “sell “ aria in ebay, “add picture†and double click on the photo I
want to add nothing uploads. There are no warning screens and no security
advisement. I was then told to use the “enhanced “ tab in ebay (this uses
active X (??) ) There is suppose to be some buttons/ tabs here that at
related to active x. They do not even show up… There (ebay) assessment
reveled that there is a setting in Vista blocking these events from
completing. I have even tried turning off the fire wall in vista and turning
off Macfee, still it does not work.

Will I have to do this for every picture every time?

HELP

Here is what I see now,,,,,,
If you are seeing this page, your browser settings prevent you from
automatically redirecting to a new URL.

Please click here to continue.

This is new and still cant upload photos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Open IE, Tools menu, Options, Security tab, "Custom Level" button. You will
find settings for things like the Phishing filter, and other settings that
might do that..

OK I reset my IE browser that part is working again.
I still can not upload pictures into ebay. I tryed using the smaple photos
in the public file but it still will not work. any more Ideas???

Thanks
Tim
