Da Bootlegger
I'm using WindowsXP professional Version 2002 SP1
So far I've run across two programs:
Tweak XP Pro
and
BeSweet GUI
that open in a window that is unsizeable and opens in the wrong
dimensions (apparently.) Most of the options and of course things
like apply buttons and ok buttons are not in the viewable frame, since
there are no scrollbars or anyway to resize the window it makes the
programs completely unusable! I suspect that the software is written
in VB and thought maybe the VB runtime was the problem, after updating
it there is no difference however. I also tried changing the
executables compatibility options to no avail. As well as
screen-display properties/size and so on.
I'm using a matrox millenium G450 dual-monitor display that I normally
leave set at 2048x768 I have updated all video drivers and done the
windows updates from microsoft. So far nothing has affected the
display for these programs. I visited the forums for these programs
and no one else seems to have this problem.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks,
Kevin (getting irritated...)
