Help!!! trend micro scan shows 60 vulnerabilities and I'm clueless

Just re-installed windows last night and did a trend micro scan this a.m.
which showed 3 sypware cookies and 60 vulnerabilities detected. They listed
fixes after each one, such as MS03-001, which I clicked on and don't have a
clue what to do next! Can anyone help?

Also, am trying to activate Windows firewall with no success.

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and let it install all the required
updates.

Vulnerabilities mean wealnesses in the OS that need to patched. MS Patches are found via
the MS Windows Update web site.
