I currently have Spybot Search & Destroy installed on my computer. A few
days ago after a routine search, it listed various components which I
instructed for removal. At the end of fixing the problems, Spybot advised
that some problems couldn't be fixed, but that it would run again after a
restart and fix it then. I restarted my computer, but this same file
'ShopAtHome' keeps coming back. Each time I try to remove it, Spybot says
it will fix at restart, but the message after restart says ' ShopAtHome:
Library (File, fixing failed) C:\WINDOWS\System32\isp.dll.
I went to my Add/Remove programs to see if it was there, but could find
nothing. I also done a search on the name, but again nothing shows.
Please can someone advise how to remove it.
Thanks in advance.

Use Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com and close the handle to that
file. Then, delete it.

Short of this, Open Task Manager end task "explorer.exe", attempt to delete
the dll file now.

hi there!
you won't find an *.dll in the "Add/Remove Programs"
because it is not a program, but part of a program.
and one of the reasons you can't find "isp.dll" is
probably because:
1-"C:\WINDOWS\System32" is protected by Windows and not
allow users to get in very easily
2-"isp.dll" file attributes could be set to "hidden"

probably solutions:

1-open a new search, but this time click on "Change
preferences" at the bottom of the list on the left, click
on "Change Files and Folders Search Behavior", click
on "Advanced" (originally "Standard"), and OK. Now click
on "More Advanced Options" and select "Search System
Folder", "Search Hidden Files and Folders", "Search
Subfolders"; try searching again.
2-if 1 doesn't work: open any folder, at the top of the
folder window, menu bar: select "Tools", second from the
right, and click on folder Options, now "View" tab; scroll
down to "hidden files and folders". Be sure "Show hidden
files and folders" is selected; "Hide extensions for known
file types" and "Hide protected operating system files
(Recommended)" are unchecked. You can run the search again
or browse to the .../System32 folder. You should be able
to find "isp.dll". Right click it, select Properties and
uncheck all the attibutes. Now, try deleting it.

Note: i think you can send an email to the search&destroy
creator so he can fix it for the next update/released. and
hope that all this will help you to delete "isp.dll". feel
free to email me if you have any problems. i'll be glad to
help
seeya!
