Okay, when I log into windows XP professional, under my
user name it says "6 new messages" and when you click it
has my email address. It's very important for me to
remove this information, but I've tried everything, like
deleting msn messenger and such.

Hi

You can download TweakUI from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp and when
installed go to Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI - then go to
Logon>Unread Mail - disable it in the right hand pane.

Download TweakUI from the following site:

TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Install TweakUI and run it. In the left pane, click Logon, Unread Mail and uncheck "Show unread mail on Welcome screen"
