Jason

I played Delta Force Task Force and it somehow switched
my taskbar from the bottom of the window to a vertical
orientation on the left side of the screen. I hate it and
can not figure out how to change it back. I can't drag it
down, I can't cutomize it back and I cannot find *any*
information about this anywhere. I have no idea how to
change it, please help.

Thanks,
Jason

Unfortunately this does not solve my problelm - I wish it
was that easy. I get the double arrow and I can resize
the taskbar to half the width of my screen if I wish, but
that is not the problem. I cannot change the orientation
of the takbar from up and down on the left side of my
screen instead of left to right across the bottom. This
make sense?

Thanks,
Jason

.

Right click on the taskbar and unlock it.. then drag it
down to the bottom, right click the taskbar again and
lock it.

Unlock the taskbar, click and HOLD the left mouse button
on the taskbar(away from any icons). Now drag the task
bar to the bottom.. holding that left mouse button.

THANKS! Worked perfectly.

Jason,

The exact same information about unlocking the task bar is CLEARLY explained
in the information at the MS site I initially provided.

The following is quoted from the site;

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the taskbar is locked.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods to unlock the
taskbar:
Right-click the taskbar, and then click to clear the Lock Taskbar option

or

Use the Taskbar and Start Menu tool in Control Panel:
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Taskbar and Start Menu.
On the Taskbar tab, click to clear the Lock the taskbar check box.
Click OK.
