Help & Support in XP

I can't open the OPTION HELP & SUPPORT in my Compaq Evo with OS
XP. I think it was deleted by the former owner.... how can I find it
or reistall it?
Please HELP ME!!!

One thing that may complicate this situation is that Compaq, like many OEMs,
installs their own version of the Help and Support Center on many of their
systems. You may want to check with Compaq to see if there's any special
procedure to reinstall Help and Support.

Do you have a folder named C:\I386 on your computer? If not, how about
C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles ? If so, you might be able to redirect Windows to
one of those folders when asked to provide the Windows XP SP2 CD.

If you can't find either folder, I can't think of any way you're going to be
able to reinstall a Windows component without an installation CD. If you didn't
get a CD with the computer and it doesn't have a hidden recovery partition, you
might want to take a look at this HP web site.

Getting back to your problem, what happens when you try to launch Help and
Support from the Start menu? What happens when you try to run this file?

C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\HelpCtr.exe

thinks that finnally HELP & SUPPORT is functioning!!!! Thanks for your
