Please help!

We get a strange SNMP error message at some of our Win-
2000 servers, and we have tried to nail it down, but we
have not been able to do so.

During system startup, the SNMP generates the following
error...

Source: SNMP Category: None Type: Error Event ID: 1501
Description: The SNMP Service encountered an error while
setting up the incoming transports. \n the IP transport
has been dropped out.

We have tried to details down if there are any additional
services that are using the SNMP protocol, but this looks
really strange to us.

Any proposal or feedback is most welcome

We have also observed this error on our BizTalk2004 server. However w
are running WinServer2003. It occurs roughly every 2 weeks and it seem
to be the first indication that the server is getting into strife
Eventually all components stop working and the only recovery method i
a restart. I've posted this problem on both the Microsoft Biztalk200
and WinServer2003 Newsgroups, but no reponses. Your post was the onl
one that I found on the web after a search.

Our network boys had a look at it but come up empty on answers. It'
interesting that your SNMP error occurs during a system startup. O
these servers, do you experience any problems after startup?

Thanks
