I have created a presentation using Powerpoint version. 10.0.2623.0
I want to play one music file in its entirety, followed by another in its
entirety. How do I do this? Thanks very much.
John

Do you want to play both music files on the same slide, on two separate slides,
or continuously through the presentation?

I want the first music file to start at the beginning of the
presentation and continue for its (the music's) duration (irrespective
of the number of slides viewed) and when it ends, I want to second
music file to start and continue for its duration.
Thanks for your reply
Best wishes,
John

In that case I recommend that you splice them together as one file. You can do
that in nearly any audio editing program. The reason that I suggest that is
that there is really no way for you to know when the first file will finish so
that you can start the second file. It will vary depending on, well, many
things.

To play a single file throughout the presentation, see:

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

Thanks again for the reply. I do know when the first file ends (3:50) and I
want the second file to begin a second later. Is there nothing I can do to
achieve this?
Best wishes and thanks for your patience.
John
