Help - Several problems- 2nd time ??

I have several problems

--- When I log off, the other user names for my computer are not there and my computer welcome screen looks differen
-- When I go to the control panel and pick user accounts and then select the "learn about" section, I get the message "Library Not registered" and there are question marks over them
-- Normally when I log off, I get the option to switch users and that is no longer there

Help!! (I also posted this message earlier on this message board and it seems to have dissapeared, so if you responded, I didn't see it) Thank
 
Have you tried going back to a Restore Point of a recent
date when it was working ok?

Yes, I tried going back 1 month ago when I know everything was fine and it tells me it can't do a restore because nothing has change :(
