Does the server need to be rebooted after these changes?
Thx

I imagine that key just doesn't exist. Just go ahead and
add it.

There isn't much difference between the ntpring.inf and
the printupg.inf file. There were reported problems
with
editing the ntprint.inf since it was digitally signed,
so
editing it broke that signing. See the above link for
more information about that.

It may be a printer driver problem. Since printer
drivers
can easily be changed through the ntprint or the
printupg
files, that is the easiest solution.

When trying to print to the remote printer, the
queue
for
that print says
"Printing" but nothing happens. If I try & delete
that
print job, it says
"deleting" but nothing happens. If I stop, restart
the
print spooler, the
job eventually gets removed.
Is this a Printer driver problem?

Drivers of any type on a terminal server can lead
to
instability. Because many print drivers are not
made
especially well and crash often, then can cause
your
entire system to become unstable. It is common
practice
to always try to substitute the driver to the
printer
before installing the printer from the
manufacturer.
Have you tried using the ntprint.int or the
printupg.inf
files to map a printer driver to the client's
printer?
That way when a client connects with this printer,
the
server will use a driver that is previously
installed.
