Hello,

I once again have a problem. My boss opens JPGs and GIF's and other picture
formatted files... The program that comes up, by default, is Microsoft Photo
Editor... it was installed along w/ Microsoft Office 2000 Pro.

Well, he tries to print these pictures, and the program freezes...

I have tried re-installing the program, several times, but it didn't work.

I'm at wits end with this. All the computers do this... But I didn't realize
it, b/c only 1 person prints pictures.... and of course it would have to be
the boss...

So My question: How do I set up a default photo program, such as xnview or
something, so that when he double clicks the picture, xnview opens instead of
Microsoft Photo Editor?? I know it's somewhere in the registry... but I'm not
sure where... Can anyone help me, or did I post this in the wrong room??

Thanks in advance...

Never mind...

In Control Panel, Double Click Folder Options...

On the 3rd tab, it says "File Types"

You can change the program for each file type.
