help required

Hi there,
I have the same problem of trying to set control on the
machine for my kids not to temper with the set programs on
the computer.
I, for example, have a document that's been locked up in a
certain kind of encoding and I'll admit, I'm slow as
well.But in order go back to the original settings, I've
lost my information on the floppy.
Anyway, I had to copy files from the main source which was
on another computer outside home.
I'd appreciate it if someone would help me with
information on the correct type of encoding.
And as for the young ones, I hope that with them asleep or
away for a few minutes ,I could sit down and set controls
on the machine and give each one a name and
password,because they love playing games on the computer
and taking print-outs of their favourite cartoon
characters which I think is a good thing for them.
All who have problems which may be related to mine, I hope
you find a solution.

Eh?
 
If you have encoded files and lost the key then you are
out of luck. You will have to get a code breaking program
to open them up. That's why you need to copy the key to a
safe place. Why do you think encoding is such a safety
feature. If you can't open the file then noone(almost)
can. Have fun.
